My Story
Hey there, I am Kyrsta Morehouse - I've been a celebrity makeup artist in Los Angeles for over 13 years and a makeup instructor for the past 6. I’ve always loved makeup, but I started wanting to do more than just cover things up—I wanted to actually help people improve their skin. After a knee injury made freelancing tough, I realized I could shift gears and combine my love of skincare and makeup by becoming an esthetician. Now, I’m building a space that feels welcoming and safe for everyone, especially folks who -like me- don’t always feel like they “fit in” at traditional spas. I want to create a place where people can unplug, recharge, and feel truly cared for. I am driven by helping people and have seen first hand how much a little selfcare can improve one's day and life - I can’t wait to join you on that journey. Shortly after starting Esthetics By Kyrsta, I also launched my own vegan, curelty-free, botanical skincare brand called Blanced Barrier Skin Co. (click the tab at the top to find out more) as well as joined the Bioelements team as an Education Specialist to spread skincare and brand knowledge! Who knows what's next!
